PLEASE NOTE: There are three different types of factory-fitted HID/Xenon headlights available on the Mk 2 Audi TT models: Xenon for the dipped beam only, Bi-Xenon and Bi-Xenon Adaptive, or AFS. These headlights are ONLY suitable for the standard Bi-Xenon type. If your Bi-Xenons are the adapative type these lights will not be suitable. You need our part number AU-TT-5137 instead.
How to tell if these are suitable for your car? Firstly, make sure that the car does NOT have a manual headlight height adjuster roller next to the light switch. Secondly, check that you only have one bulb in each headlight for both the high- and dipped beam functions. Finally, look at the the silver HID ballast box fitted to the side of your existing headlights - if the box has four mounting screws these lights will be suitable. If there are three mounting screws, they won't. Look at the images we have provided of the two types of boxes for guidance.
Black DRL projector headlights with sequential indicators to fit: AUDI TT Mk 2 8J (2006-2014) - for cars with original equipment Bi-Xenon headlights, but not Bi-Xenon adaptive (AFS) systems.
Black interior surround with chrome reflectors and clear, unpatterned lens. These headlights have a single projector dipped & high beam lens, LED indicators with sequential ("running") function (can be deactivated if required), and an integrated LED Daytime Running Light (DRL). Height adjustment motors, HID ballasts and HID bulbs are not included - they must be transferred from the original headlights.
LEDs are not user-replaceable and are covered under the manufacturer's repair or replace warranty.
NOT suitable for cars with Halogen headlights, cars with only Xenon dipped beams or cars with Bi-Xenon adaptive (AFS) headlights.
For safety reasons head lights should be fitted and adjusted by a professional. You can do a basic setting by eye, but specialised equipment may be needed to be sure that the lights are set correctly and legally
